Itinerary Design
If you decide to become a client, I’ll send you your Travel Design and Planning Fee (which starts at $500 and can vary based on trip complexity and the number of travelers). Then I’ll begin researching and curating your bespoke itinerary. In about a week to 10 business days (sometimes longer depending on the time of year and destination), you’ll have a trip proposal that we will review together. Share your feedback, ask any questions, and I’ll make tweaks for you!

Client Care
With your itinerary set and deposit paid, you can leave all the rest to me. I’ll take care of booking and arranging your flights, hotels, transfers, tours, activities, and more. I’ll also recommend travel insurance and make sure you are fully prepared for departure with the right info and insights.

It’s time to fly! Set off on your personal journey with an itinerary that unfurls seamlessly for you. If any issues do crop up, simply get in touch, and I’ll be here to troubleshoot for you—all you need to do is enjoy your escape.

Since I have relationships with top travel contacts around the world, I can design a wide variety of vacation experiences for my clients! Why do you charge a design fee for your services?
I ask for a design fee so I can give all of my clients the highly individual attention they deserve. My planning services are truly comprehensive, so that I can take care of every last detail for you. The design fee also allows me to pick the very best options for my clients, regardless of commissions I may get from suppliers.
I’ll always share my design fee with you before we begin planning together, so there are no surprises!
What if I just want to book a hotel?
In order to maintain our superior level of service, we offer hotel-only bookings exclusively to current clients. There are a couple of options for making a hotel-only booking:
For occasional hotel bookings, if you just want to choose your luxurious hotel and have me reserve it for you in order to take advantage of special rates + perks that I can often pass on to my clients, you can click HERE to access our exclusive booking site to choose your hotel, or email me at travel@ajanaclairwisetravel.com with your preferred hotel requests and travel dates, and my team and I will reserve your hotel for you.
For our clients who travel more frequently, we offer our annual membership plans, each of which comes with unlimited hotel- and cruise-only bookings along with other exclusive perks. Additionally, hotel- and cruise- only bookings under a membership plan receive the same start to finish service we offer for all of our exclusive itineraries.
How soon in advance should we start planning our trip?
That depends on the experience you’re after! For big bucket list trips like African safaris, European river cruises, or escapes to ultra-luxe exotic locales, it’s a good idea to begin planning as much as a year in advance, since inventory gets booked up quickly. For other vacations where you’re more flexible on the where and when, it’s fine to get started just 6-8 months in advance—but if you’ve got less time than that, reach out, and I’ll let you know if I can still help!
Will you help me navigate COVID protocols?
Yes, I will absolutely assist as best I can. I’m plugged into the latest industry guidance and country guidelines, so I will keep you up to date on everything I know that you need to do and be aware of as entry requirements continue to evolve. Please be advised that while we will do all we can to assist, we are not responsible for compliance or non-compliance with any COVID protocol.
